Our employment needs obviously vary based on the time of the year, but Kokomo’s is always looking for qualified individuals that want to work and have fun at the same time. You might say some of our employees "really get into their work..."

April is the best month to apply for hiring, right before the busy summer starts. Kokomo’s offers a flexible work schedule, but applicants should be aware that since weekends are the busiest time at Kokomo’s, workers are expected to be available 3 out of 4 weekends per month.

Kokomo’s is a “fun” place to work. Many past and current employees comment on the terrific experience they have working at Kokomo’s. Workers enjoy the friendships, social events and monthly birthday parties. They love to earn “Koko-Bucks” that can be redeemed for gift certificates of their choice. Each month, a worker with outstanding performance is awarded "Employee of the Month".

IN ORDER TO APPLY, AN APPLICANT MUST COMPLETE THE APPLICATION FORM AT KOKOMO’S. The application form includes a basic math test, a 110 true-false questionnaire, and a personality profile. It takes approximately 45 minutes and no calculators or outside assistance is allowed. All forms are reviewed, and based on the test results, profile, work history, and other criteria, a qualified applicant would be called for a personal interview. Kokomo's will inform the applicant within 1 week if they are approved for hire.

Kokomo’s realizes that the employee is on the frontline everyday and is the ambassador for Kokomo’s. The performance, knowledge and quality of our workers is critical to Kokomo’s success. Therefore, our workers are considered as part of the team and are allowed access to the owner or manager at any time. Also, there is a large degree of flexibility given to the individual for planning their work schedule around all their other activities. Through cooperation, the whole team focuses on the #1 Goal, which is to make sure the customer enjoys his/her experience at Kokomo’s. The positive attitude of the worker, in the end, will result in better performance, and both customer and employee satisfaction.
